Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
1. Our Commitment
PromptVan is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continuously work to improve the experience for all users.
2. What We Support
We have implemented the following accessibility features across PromptVan:
- Keyboard navigation - All interactive elements and workflows can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard, without requiring a mouse.
- Screen reader compatibility - The application is tested with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) to ensure content is properly announced and navigable.
- Color contrast - We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG AA requirements.
- Text scaling - All text can be scaled up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. The layout adapts responsively to accommodate enlarged text.
- Skip links - Skip navigation links are provided for keyboard users to bypass repetitive content and jump directly to main content areas.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA - We use semantic HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists) and ARIA attributes where necessary to provide meaningful structure for assistive technologies.
- Dark mode - A dark theme is available to reduce eye strain and improve readability in low-light environments.
- Focus indicators - All interactive elements display visible focus indicators when navigated via keyboard, making it easy to track your position on the page.
3. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of the application have known limitations:
- Third-party embedded content - Some content from third-party services (e.g. embedded widgets or external integrations) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We work with our partners to improve accessibility where possible.
- Graph visualizations - Some data visualizations and graph-based features have limited screen reader support. We provide text-based alternatives and data tables where feasible to ensure the underlying information remains accessible.
4. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of PromptVan. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at accessibility@promptvan.com. We will respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
5. Audit Schedule
We conduct semi-annual accessibility audits of the PromptVan platform to identify and remediate accessibility issues. These audits cover both automated testing (using tools such as axe-core and Lighthouse) and manual testing with assistive technologies. Results inform our accessibility roadmap and are used to prioritize improvements.
